I wasn’t quite sure what was happening at this wedding. Dinner began first under a tent in New England. Fresh lavender, roses, herbs, and butterflies were the visual entry to the festivities. Opera singers, roaming Italian musicians, and more serenaded us at dinner. “But when is the ceremony happening?”, we all asked. Guests were then asked to depart into the woods to meet the Bride and Groom as they descended down a long aisle in the forest that was lit by us holding candles. This took our breath away. We then surrounded a lake with our candles as the bride and groom set afloat on a dock on the lake. Commencing, the ceremony fireworks went off. All of us then returned to the dinner tent that was converted into dessert and dancing with a live band. It was unexpected and was a night none of us would forget. Memories for a lifetime!
